Why we exist

Frifti is a marketplace that aggregates deals from renowned, UK brands you already know and love.

Inspired by LBC

A big motivation for launching Frifti has been the realisation that Big Tech has a stranglehold on communities far from Silicon Valley.

Consumers lack choice. Brands are beholden to their distribution. Governments lack leverage.

LBC's Matthew Wright took a call from John who highlighted the need for fair alternatives to Big Tech. Frifti aims to be a part of this movement.

Our beliefs

We were deeply motivated to launch Frifti as we recognised a deep inequality in the e-commerce status quo.

Customers are deeply dissatisfied with the experience of discovering products via incumbents like Amazon or Temu. Scrolling through thousands of low-quality, lookalike products is not helpful or enjoyable.

We believe great brands should not have to slash their value to compete with a flood of cheap imitations. Brands should be celebrated for their quality, craftsmanship, and identity.

Shopping should be a force for good, strengthening local economies and ensuring that businesses contribute fairly to the places where they operate.

Every purchase has an impact. We believe in promoting sustainable consumption and ensuring that commerce doesn’t come at the expense of the environment.

Our pledges

From these beliefs, we have committed to four pledges:

πŸ˜ƒ Fair for consumers

We always sell products at the best prices we can find (or better), and we only take commission when we partner with stores.Β

🀝 Fair for brands

We care about the brands we promote. That's why every product page features a link to buy the product directly from the brand as well as through Frifti.

🏑 Fair for the community

We source products from countries we sell to. Just as importantly, once we reach the threshold to pay tax in the countries we sell in, we pledge to actually pay tax in those countries.

πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¦ Fair for the planet

We are deeply moved by the strength of the people of Ukraine, and pledge to give 10% of our profits to support and rebuild this truly inspirational country. We also want to re-invest back into our planet, and so are working to ensure we are carbon neutral as soon as possible.
